PERRY Y. JUE, D.M.D.

Owner

Dr. Perry Jue is a graduate of Boston University Dental School, with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Jue completed a two year general practice residency at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in 1994. He has had advanced training in all phases of dentistry including periodontics and oral surgery. He also served 2 years providing children’s dental care in a hospital setting. Dental implantology has been a special interest for Dr. Jue and he has been successfully placing implants since 2001. A provider of Invisalign®, Dr. Jue has orthodontic training and experience in conventional braces. Dr. Jue has utilized Expanded Function Assistants for many years and recognizes their invaluable contribution to the dental team. His passion to see growth in the dental community is the driving force behind CCDA.

MASHELL HANNAH, RDAEF II

RDAEF Program Director / Owner

Mashell has been in dentistry for over 20 years. She was an RDA for 15 years and worked in private practice, as well as education. Mashell was an educator for over 9 years and program director at a private junior college in Bakersfield, where she taught all aspects of dental assisting. In 2011 Mashell obtained her expanded function licensure. To utilize her new licensure as an RDAEF2 she left her teaching career to go into private practice. Mashell currently works at an office where she, along with her dentist provide quality dental care to their patients. Mashells passion for dentistry is the driving force in her career as a dental assistant, and the reason she is so excited to teach at CCDA.

AMANDA SALING, RDAEF II

Director of Education / Owner

Amanda Saling has been in the dental field since 2001. She attended Clarita Career College, graduating with the director’s award. She has always had a desire for higher education, leading her to become an RDAEF II in 2013, and an OMSA assistant in 2016. Amanda has continued to work in the dental field sense she graduated and has taught courses for dental assistance on the weekends throughout her career. Her primary focus as an instructor has been a dental assisting program, Sealant certification, and Radiology. Her love for dentistry and passion to help others grow in the dental field drove her to start one of the first study clubs for RDAEFs in California. Amanda has continued to stay involved in her professional organization by serving as a committee member for CDA Cares, Kern High School Districts Dental Assisting program, volunteering to educate schools aged children, and participating in a work study analysis up in Sacramento. Teaming up with Mashell Hannah, and Dr. Perry Jue to create CCDA, Amanda shares the same desire to see dental assistance further their education and to help RDAEFs be utilized to their full capacity within our dental communities.
