Perry Y. Jue, D.M.D.
Owner
Dr. Perry Jue is a graduate of Boston University Dental School, with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Jue completed a two year general practice residency at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in 1994. He has had advanced training in all phases of dentistry including periodontics and oral surgery. He also served 2 years providing children's dental care in a hospital setting. Dental implantology has been a special interest for Dr. Jue and he has been successfully placing implants since 2001. A provider of Invisalign®, Dr. Jue has orthodontic training and experience in conventional braces. Dr. Jue has utilized Expanded Function Assistants for many years and recognizes their invaluable contribution to the dental team. His passion to see growth in the dental community is the driving force behind CCDA.
Mashell Hannah, RDAEF II
RDAEF Program Director / Owner
Meet Mashell Hannah, the dedicated Program Director and Co-Owner of Central California Dental Academy. With an impressive dental career spanning over two decades, Mashell brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field. She spent 15 years as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in both private practice and educational settings, showcasing her commitment to providing top-quality dental care.
Mashell's passion for education led her to become an educator, where she devoted over 9 years to teaching all aspects of dental assisting. Her journey in dentistry reached a new milestone in 2011 when she obtained her expanded function licensure as an RDAEF II. Eager to put her expanded skills to use, she transitioned to private practice while continuing to provide high-quality dental care to her patients alongside her dentist.
Mashell's unwavering enthusiasm for dentistry fuels her career as a dental assistant and serves as the driving force behind her commitment to teaching at CCDA. Her wealth of knowledge and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our institution, where she is eager to share her expertise and inspire the next generation of dental professionals.
Amanda Saling, RDAEF II
Director of Education / Owner
Amanda Saling, RDAEF II, Director of Education, and Co-Owner, is a true dental professional with a passion for education and growth. With over two decades of experience in the dental field, beginning in 2001, Amanda's dedication to higher education led her to graduate from Clarita Career College with the Director's Award. Her commitment to excellence drove her to become an RDAEF II in 2013 and an OMSA assistant in 2016.
Amanda's extensive experience includes teaching expanded functions dental assistance courses on weekends, and focusing on new and innovated ways to help other dental professionals advance in their careers. She's a trailblazer, having initiated one of the first study clubs for RDAEFs in California, and remains deeply involved in her professional community, contributing to organizations like CDA Cares, Kern High School Districts Dental Assisting program, volunteering to educate school-aged children and is an active board member of the California Dental Expanded Functions Association. Amanda's dedication, combined with her collaboration with Mashell Hannah and Dr. Perry Jue to establish CCDA, is driven by a shared goal: to enhance dental education and empower RDAEFs to reach their full potential in our dental communities.
Jessica Alstot
Meet Jessica Alstot, an accomplished dental professional with a passion for teaching and a
commitment to excellence. With a career spanning since 2018, Jessica is not only an
experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant but also a dedicated instructor at the Central
California Dental Academy. She is a proud mother of two and shares a deep love for animals.
Her unwavering thirst for knowledge drives her to continually seek new learning opportunities,
ensuring that she remains at the forefront of the dental field. Jessica takes immense pride in
nurturing her students, guiding them until they experience that coveted "aha moment". In
addition to her teaching role, she actively practices in the dental field. Beyond her professional
pursuits, Jessica finds immense joy in her roles as a wife and mother, cherishing the love and
support of her family.
